Yes!  

All children 13 & under are required to wear a life jacket. 

Infant, Child, Youth, and Adult sized life jackets are provided at the dock.

Every boat is equipped with coast guard approved life jackets for every passenger. 

No, we do not offer these products. 

Yes! A full tank of gas is included with your rental.  You do not need to refuel before your return the boat. 

While getting a boater's license is encouraged, if you were born BEFORE 9/1/93 you do not need a boater's license to drive a rental boat.  

The minimum age to rent a boat is 21 WITH a valid Texas Boating License.

We have a minimum of 3 hours on the weekdays for all vessels.

The weekends have 4 hour minimums.  (You can do increments up to 8 hours)

We also offer multi-day rentals.

We do not have ice at the dock.  The closest place to get ice is the Chevron on Boggy Ford Rd. or the ice machine off of Lohman's Ford. 

We no longer deliver boats.   Our dock is located at 1910 American Drive in Lago Vista.  The boats are in the water at the dock, ready to go!  

Lago Vista Boat Rentals reserves the right to cancel the Rental due to inclement or impending bad weather or otherwise unsafe water conditions.  Lago Vista Boat rentals also reserves the right to cancel should the Vessel be damaged and require repair.    The deposit can be transferred to a rescheduled rental time or will be refunded in these instances.  Cancellations by customers 48 hours in advance will have the deposit credited to a later date.  There are no refunds for same day cancellations by the customer. 

Yes! If you would like to request a captain for your rental - please leave a request in the customer comments, as well as email us, to allow time to line up a captain.  Captain service fees are $30/hour paid directly to the captain at the time of your trip.   Captains cannot pull anyone behind the boats (ie people on tubes or skis). Captain services are not included in the rental price.
